Real estate mogul and philanthropist Avi Oster recently showed his support for the fashion world by hosting a star-studded New York event with hip-hop sensation NeYo and acclaimed R&B singer Estelle. The event, titled 360 Induced, took place in New York City and featured over 150 special guests, among them many high-profile business leaders and patrons of the arts.
The focus of the evening was networking and talent promotion. Both Oster and Ne-Yo are vocal proponents of the value of collaboration. By putting so many important people in one room, Oster reasoned, there was a greater chance that something exceptional could come out of it. The All of Me Foundation, which was founded by Grammy-winner Estelle to improve the lives of inner-city youth, was also highlighted.
Though he enjoys his successes in real estate development, Oster has long divided his passion among many fields, including music, entertainment, fashion, and community service. 360 Induced was an intersection of all those fields, and Oster was cognizant of the potential for community leaders to connect. “What better place to inspire new ideas, relationships, and productive energy than New York,” Oster mused.
The night also featured a riveting performance from Ne-Yo, performing new music from his latest release, Libra Scale. Estelle also sang for the audience, and introduced several important board members serving the All of Me Foundation, among them Oster himself. A fashion show and short presentations were also enjoyed by the A-list attendees. Said Nolcha Fashion Week president Arthur Mandel, “I hope the event has inspired others to follow suit.”
